Welcome to Westmoreland County American Legion baseball league website ....... The league encompasses the entire area of Westmoreland and Armstrong Counties located in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Our league consists of young men between the ages of 16 to 18 years of age who strive to carry on the deep rooted tradition of legion baseball in our area. American legion baseball is one of the few organizations left that teams are comprised of young men that live within their communities. Also the American Legion baseball program installs the value of sportsmanship and good character.

Bushy Run Claims 2020 WCALB Championship

For the third time in four years, #3 Seeded Bushy Run is the champion of WCALB (District 31). The Beavers defeated #1 Seeded Latrobe 10-6 to claim the 2020 Championship. As a result, both teams advance, as well as Yough, to the 2020 Central Pennsylvania Regional Championship in Hollidaysburg. Yesterday, despite a rain delay, #5 Seeded Yough defeated #2 Seeded Murrysville in the 2020 WCALB Consolation Game 5-4. Below is the schedule for Day One of the Tournament, Friday 8/7. Game One: Latrobe vs. Claysburg 9:30am (Hollidaysburg High School) Game Two: Mount Union vs. Yough noon (Hollidaysburg High School) Game Three: Bushy Run vs. Bedford 2:30 (Hollidaysburg High School) Game Four: Mifflin County vs. Hollidaysburg 5pm (Hollidaysburg High School) A final note... Due to the weather during the middle of the week, the 2020 WCALB Showcase was postponed to next Wednesday 8/12 at 5pm at Legion Keener Park in Latrobe.
